I didn't even want to put 1 star. I should have read the online reviews before purchasing a vehicle from appletree honda of asheville. I have a 2015 crv and received a letter from honda informing me to take my car in for a software update. Apparently it can cause the car to jolt forward unexpectedly which is dangerous so i immediately called to set up an appt to bring my car in. Btw, i had come to the appletree service department once before for an oil change which took almost two hours to complete, but knowing this had to be done i called to make the appt. No one answered on a tuesday afternoon so i left a message. Two days later no one had called me back so i called and finally reached someone and made an appointment for today tuesday oct 11th. I brought my car in at 9am and had to take a shuttle ride home and then it picked me back up around 230 after the car was "ready". The shuttle driver was very nice and the only pleasant person i came across at that place.

I get to the dealership and am informed that the fixing of the defect in my car (that was honda's mistake) was free of charge. WHAT A BLESSING! Such a joke. Anyway i got into my 2015 car that i love so much and had never given me any problems whatsoever and nothing. It won't start. I go and tell Brenda (the woman that was helping me) and she says she'll have someone look at it. 50 MINUTES later she comes back and says my battery is dead and i can buy one for $108. She showed me a print out of the test. The time on this slip of paper says 3:05pm and it's now 3:55. Why did it take almost an hour to come tell me you were ripping me off so anyway i told her i'd never had a problem with it, i came for a software upgrade which took up my entire day away from my 19 month old son and now i was having to pay for a battery. "It's just a coincidence that it stopped working after we worked on it" i was told.

So i finally got into the car, 8 hours after originally dropping it off and paying for honda's mistake and i see a piece of paper on the dashboard saying i failed a wheel alignment. I got new tires and alignment a month ago. They probably messed that up too. They are crooks. Do not go here! I would not be surprised if they switched the batteries out so they could rip me off. I also would not put it past them to rig the car so that something else goes wrong. These people are despicable and have absolutely no customer service training and do not care. I have never left a bad review for a business. I am the kind of person that could get a completely wrong meal at a restaurant and not say a word and be kind and tip well. This pushed me over the edge today. DO NOT GO TO APPLETREE HONDA!!!
