To be honest the service during our stay was not of the Waldorf Astoria standard, most of the amenities in the hotel were shut quite early (which was not made clear in time for check-in) including room service which we couldn't order at 9 PM, much to our dismay.

Other hiccups in the service quality include reception not picking up the phone during midday after 5 calls, making requests for water to be sent up the room because room service had not attended to the room by 2 PM and nothing would happen, to broken room door handles.

While we can understand some services being shut down relatively early due to the ongoing pandemic, the reception should make this exceptionally clear upon check-in. The pandemic, however, is no excuse for the other hiccups mentioned.
