I had had a long day and still another hour of driving before I was done. I was hungry so decided to try Cock & Bull. It was well before closing, around 8pm on a Wed eve. I placed an order to go ... grouper sandwich with bleu cheese and some kind of sauce I was thinking would be like a remoulade sauce. It was the worst fish sandwich I have ever had. The fish filet was breaded and fried (what I ordered) but was so overcooked it was dry and chewy. The bleu cheese was practically non-existent. The sauce was like a cocktail sauce which didn't pair with the fish at all because the breading on the filet was very spicy (which I wasn't expecting). Also, the tomato was not even ripe... This is July and no ripe tomato slice for my sandwich?! The onion "straws" were equally disappointing. Suffice it to say I spent $11 on a terrible sandwich and I won't be back.
