I grew up with a joint just like this, it was my family's favorite pizza place for 30+ years, I ended up getting my first job there which lasted for 5 years. We were known for having not only great pizza but having great pizza consistently. We had so many customers who we knew so well that all we needed was their name to know what they wanted. I do have a point....
Sals won my stomach from the get go but they won my heart one night a while back when my son called to place our usual order but he forgot one thing; not 2 minutes later his phone rings and it's Sal's, asking if we wanted easy sauce like usual....yes....yes we do.
Moving away from something you love is hard, Sals Pizza is like having a piece of home. Hands down the best pizza in town.
