First time to Durango and the Railroad on recommend of a friend.
The train was an amazing experience. I did the bus up to Silverton and back by rail. I think the full train trip might have been a bit long for my time constraints.
Our Guide, a retired Geologist from Alaska, was amazing. Her love for the train along with knowledge of features along the track was exceptional and highly informative. She really kept us entertained.
Highly recommended.
