Client abuse, disregard for staff. Did you know this agency has been shut down before?

Only in it for the money. The state pays 50 an hour to agencies for care. Highly trained staff are lucky to see 12.25 of that. Yet other agencies are paying for insurance for their staff members out of pocket. Supervisors find every way they can to blame everything on staff, and never take initiative to make things better for the staff and clients. Some clients are being forced into doing things they have the right to refuse to. Office promotes being friendly and being a team in the training, but it turns into a fight to survive. The turnover rate is extremely high because the company treats staff as disposable, instead of finding ways to train and help staff grow.

One client (in order to avoid violating HIPAA i will be very brief on explaining) is currently living in a home that needs to be torn down. It is damaged beyond repair and dangerous, yet the agency does nothing to get the clients into a safer situation. Instead, they lead the clients family into believing that they are looking for a new home, then threaten staff for relaying information that the family has a legal right to.
