A very beautiful island. Unfortunately, too many too large new hotels and resorts are being built. As a result, the peace, authenticity and seclusion that I was able to experience 20 years ago is over.
More and more tourists cause more and more garbage that has to be laboriously removed from the island or simply disposed of on the back of the hotel complex in the beautiful nature.
This is how a paradise is destroyed!
And if the tourists are too lazy to walk the 500 meters from the jetty to the hotel, then they are carted past the other guests on the golden beach with a creaking and smelly tractor. So much shortsightedness of the residents is just unfortunate.
The complex itself is on the whole well-kept and in order. The rooms will have different facilities for each category. Our room was clean and tidy and if something didn't work, there was a quick remedy.
The staff is friendly even if we have already experienced different things in Asia. There is still room for improvement. ;-)
Unfortunately, the Thai cuisine offered in the restaurant did not convince us. Our favorite restaurant in Berlin has already delighted our palates.
