It was colorful and crowded. But I do not get what all the fuss/hype is about. A lot of tall buildings with advertising boards in front of which people take selfies. That's about it. Maybe I did not 'do times square' correctly. I enjoyed the central park a lot more which is saying something because years of tourism and zero/low maintenance has had its toll.
