Came into Portland to visit friends and go to a benefit show at Mississippi Studios. The place is beautiful. the folks at the front door
were very nice. The issue a friend and i had was with the bar staff. As she was going to order a drink, one of the bartenders was a little uprupt with her. I went and ordered a drink with a different person. When i tasted my drink i told the bartender that it was weak. He said that he disagreed with me- that, " it was the measurement of alcohol that it was supposed to be." I didn't appreciate that comment. I didn't see him measure anything. I've worked as a bartender, waitress and other positions in the service industry. For me the saying "the customer is always right" should be a mantra that anyone that works in the service industry should have. You want a person to have a great experience when they go out.
Otherwise why bother going out?! In conclusion, Mississippi Studios is a beautiful location but some of the staff can rub you the wrong way. "
P.s. Try the french fries! So yummy!
