Alapash is hands-down my favorite store in Chicago. I wish I could live in this store. It smells amazing, has the most beautiful textiles and rugs, and friendly people! The prices are extremely reasonable - for the rugs and pillows, in particular, I've seen less-unique versions selling in the city for double. I've stopped buying candles anywhere else because these are simply the best smelling. I joke with my husband that now that we've moved across country that I want to open up my own Alapash, I miss it that much.
