steak au poivre no longer the best. meat fatty and sauce changed heavy on the mustard. wonderful martinis; service varied widely with servers. noise worse and makes it impossible to consider going again. given the deterioration in food it is just not worth the suffering and they couldn't care less. they get the crowds anyway but few new yorkers that i know are willing to tolerate it.
