I have had several family members in and out of rehab since I can remember, in the 70's! Lucky me! My brother is currently at Livengrin and I just attended "Day of Enlightment" and had a visit with him. First of all the first time my brother called me to let me know he could have visitors he said, "I love it here!" First time I every heard anyone in rehab say they Loved it! He said he felt safe, the people where so nice and the other patients were great. He immediately formed friendships with others and relationships with the staff. The Day of Enlightment was the best I ever attended. It was so informative and right on point. Dana was so knowledgeable and kept that 3 hour meeting moving along. My brother was so excited to share with me his typical day and some of the activities they had him working on. I am a nurse with 30 years of experience, they wasted no time working with my brother, talking about issues, uncovering fears, resentments and his addiction. Thank you to everyone at Livengrin Foundation!! Top notch!!
