We toured at a bad time. The line was down for some reason. I understand that was a pretty rare occurrence. We drove from and back to Austin with a large group of 20 people easily 2 hours one way. Our guide was very apologetic. She showed very deep knowledge and was open to extended discussions with the team while we waited in the line and at the end of the tour. Our group was excited and interested but understandably upset at missing the ballet at the end. Don't miss the second half of the museum! It's easy to miss because of a set of sliding doors before it. Lots of gadgets and work aids giving life to process improvement terms we only read about in books! I suggest the visitor team do a kaizen on the best times to tour with a historically high probability that the line is running. I've been there twice before and it was always a great visit.
