We took the Christmas Tree train up to a remote area along the tracks and cut down our tree. This was a special collaboration between D&SN and the U.S. Forest Service. It was super fun and amazing views. I've rode the train twice now, and it's been a great experience both times. Although, we thought the $8 parking price seemed steep. The concessions are crazy expensive, too, so bring your own snacks and hot coco!
