Had a few meals lately as it is such a beautiful setting and the owners have gone to a lot of trouble to create something beautiful. Food has gone down a few notches on our last three visits, and in spite of all surrounding restaurants being well patronised, Caves House was nearly empty. When we pointed out 2 plates of raw salmon cutlets, were told that was how they were served... hahaha, sent them back to be coooked or at least warmed up. Same plate same cutlery came back. Management and restaurant staff will have to improve the kitchen and staff responses
