I would sum up this property by simply stating if you are going as a hotel guest for the resort DON T. This place seems geared to cater to their Club members (locals who go for the amenities) than their hotel guests. Hidden fees everywhere. Book a spa appointment no problem but watch for the charge just to enter the spa. Breakfast continental, buffet or add-on, make sure you know the difference. Watch for add on gratuity of 20%. Sometime there is sometimes not, And contrary to Florida law they charge tax on the gratuity. Going to the beach? Outside of the privilege (added charge) of using their lounge chairs, you might as well be on the public beach. Unless you are a pretty girl in a small bikini don t expect to get any staff attention. (I m a dad with young son). Pool is marginally better. Put my flag up for service..... waited an hour for someone to come. Note picture below. If you want to go to the pool come down early and lay your towel down to reserve your spot for the day. The staff do not manage unused or finished with chairs. If your not down to save your chair you won t get one by 11 am for the rest of the day. Talked to a few hotel guests and we all thought the same. The club members seem to know how to navigate all this and do much better. That being said gorgeous property nice rooms and individually the staff are great. I guess once you figure out the property and the ins and outs of the place; it is fine. I just don t want to work that hard on vacation.
