UPDATE 10/13/2020:

I had a very positive conversation with Brenda Perez about my concerns expressed in my original review. She genuinely cares as do all of the doctors and staff at the clinic (although I'm not totally sure about that Urgent Care doctor).

I realized much of my strife has been about losing my beloved dog even though there were some issues with the handling of the situation. Brenda took the time to decipher the issues that could have helped the situation and has made some positive changes in practice protocol moving forward. She also offered to reimburse me for the after hours fee, which she did not have to do and I declined.

I recognized that this pandemic has caused increased stress and anxiety on all of us, especially Brenda since she is doing her best to manage the practice safely during these difficult times.

We have been able to repair our differences and I am happy to report I will be remaining a client of VMC and Dr. Gray. I did warn Brenda that currently, I just have a fractious cat named Cheddar that I got from the Humane Society so maybe it won't be great for them. All joking aside, I am grateful to be remaining a part of the VMC family. Thank you to all concerned.

I have, or had, been a client of VMC for 20 years and Dr. Gray is fantastic. Unfortunately, the doctors have nothing to do with management. On 6/11, I took my 15 year old dog to the after hours because she had not been eating or drinking. I couldn't get an appointment during regular hours and my dog had been seen by a different doctor about a week before. At the after hours appointment, the miserable doctor hung up on me,sent my beloved dog back to the car with the tech and said there were other after hours clinics. I had to beg for my dog (who was a patient at the clinic for her entire 15 year life)to be seen. I asked the doctor to give her some sort of food supplement or IV. Instead, she gave me antibiotics and sent me home. She totally missed my dog was critical. Less than 12 hours later, Lap of Love came to my home for a consultation. I was told my dog was suffering and she was euthanized. Since then, I had to call the clinic 20 times. Finally got ahold of Brenda Perez. Requested all of my records over two weeks ago and have received nothing. I would go anywhere else. It's all about the money for them
