I was able to get a great deal on Hotwire for this place, which helped us because we were staying for so long. You can see, however, where the money for recent upgrades went! The lobby, restaurant, and surrounding amenity areas are gorgeous! However, the rooms are NOT! This is what I found most disappointing about our trip, specifically because we now have an eight month old baby traveling with us and did not feel comfortable letting baby play on the floor or even to lie in the beds. There were pillow cases with blood stains (never changed because the stains remained for the 7 nights we were here), the floors were not vacuumed on a daily basis (we say the same things on it everyday), the wall paper was old, peeling, and poorly stained, and the bathtub apparently has a paint coating reminiscent of a 1980s apartment, which was peeling badly. By the way, the shower wasn't wiped down daily either (same soap scum present) and when the tissue ran out, the cleaning service simply but the new box on the counter! The staff was fairly nice and the adjoined steakhouse was always packed and smelled amazing (hate we didn't have a chance to go)! The last two points ate the only reason I gave this place a 3-star rating!
