I haven't been this impressed with a hospital let alone any company in years! Top Notch in my book. I live in Texas and my son is a freshman at Oklahoma State University. Last week he called to inform me of a possible broken foot. After receiving full treatment and diagnosis in the ER, he tells me he didn't have his insurance card on him. I immediately assume my credit card was going to be hit with a major medical expenditure creating a hassle of refunds and credits once the insurance was filed. Yet instead he tells me the hospital simply asked him to return the next day with the insurance information and they would bill him later. Seriously, who provides services these days without upfront or immediate payment? Stillwater Medical Center cared for my sons injury and just importantly treated him with respect and trust. Thank you SMC for outstanding patient care!
