Recently did a 15 min call with them for hiring a software engineer in the junior position with about 1-3 years experience. I told them I had several co-ops under my belt (2 years of experience total) as a new grad but the interviewer quickly dismissed them and differentiated work experience from internships.

If you're hiring for a junior engineer, why would you alienate a new grad with actual paid work experience? lol
