Beachway Therapy has helped our family tremendously. We will always be grateful and have nothing but the utmost respect for the entire facility from top to bottom. My son attended the facility in 2015, and may I say that Beachway was the first treatment program able to connect with him on a personal as well as professional level ever. He was changed emotionally, spiritually and physically. It was the first time our family felt hope that he had found some answers within himself to live a productive life. His therapist always stayed in contact with he as well as our family upon his return. Tragically 5 months upon returning home he was involved in a terrible car accident and died several days later in April of 2016. I myself was also was an addict. I relapsed after my sons death and to be honest was at the lowest point of my entire life. I was welcomed to the program of Beachway Therapy Center. The entire process from beginning to end was nothing but professional. I received the resources, counseling, medical treatment as well as anything else necessary to cope and live a productive life free from anything mood or mind altering. They helped my entire family. I know today that I don't have to use drugs or alcohol in order to live life. I also know that I can feel the pain of living without my son without having to numb out. The realization of this has saved my life!! Recovery is about gratitude, change and humility. Although I never expected any perks while there, I had the opportunity twice a month to have a manicure and pedicure, my hair done, a massage at least once a week if not more, beach trips, several other choices of extra activities and there were 2 pools at the residence address. I live a happy life of recovery today and still visit Beachway once a month to spend time with my therapist. They have never let me or my family down in any way. I consider it a privilege and honor to have been allowed to attend this treatment center.
Anyone not happy with Beachway is probably just not ready to grow up and take responsibility for their own recovery. Recovery is up to the client.
