Today as my neighbour and I were walking down the street we saw the post man who had just delivered our mail in our neighbourhood mailbox . The City did a poor job of snow removal on the street and pushed the snow off onto the parking area and side walk. The postman s truck was wedged tightly into the underbelly of his truck.. My friend and another neighbour tried digging him out then pushing the truck back and then from the front but he was wedged in tightly. I then saw a Kodiak tractor and flagged him down. I explained the situation and with a big smile said I can help . My heart sank as this postie was not young, grey haired. If we were frazzled you can imagine the postie must have been also. Within 4 to 5 minutes the Kodiak driver had cleared the snow. The postie was able to drive off to the next community mailbox. We all cheered the Kodiak driver, thank you Kodiak!
