If you are considering Kolbe and Kolbe windows please let me know. We built a 10,000 square-foot home and useD Kolbe and Kolbe windows. Following construction our home began to leak. Kolbe and Kolbe Would only replace the window panes; they would not re-install the windows. We didn t find out what the actual problem was until we finally got a new contractor to come out take the windows apart and look. We found that they were installed by Kolbe and Kolbe improperly. We have a stucco home and to reinstall the windows would mean having to re-stucco our home as well. Thousands and thousands of dollars which we just don t have. We have heavy storm impact resistant windows that roll open and closed. Our statute of limitations ran out with Kolbe and Kolbe dragging their feet with solutions and now we have a home that is still leaking and rotting and there is nothing we can do. I would never ever ever ever buy a Kolbe and Kolbe product ever again. It is going to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars for us to fix this problem and we just don t have that money. We will probably end up in bankruptcy because of this
