Ryan Lee Review of Red's Old 395

I've only eaten here once, but I'm already convinced this place is the real deal.
First off, the ambiance is great. Okay, the beer bottles on the wall and the soda can frames are a bit questionable--but I had a good feeling, the moment I saw their smoking equipment outside and smelled the kitchen inside, that I was in for some good eats.
The barbeque is some of the best I've had and comes with an array of hardy sides. If you like handmade sausages, you've gotta try their linguica. If you've never had real, barbecued sausage, try their linguica! Oh my god, it's amazing.
Their hot wings also have very nice texture and flavour. Just a warning: Red's Old 395 Grill sells wings by the pound and prepares whole wings (drum, wingette, and tip still connected). Since the tip is pretty much dead weight and you get 6 whole wings, you're looking at 12 wings for $14.
There is one thing I HAVE to ding them on. You can tell a lot about a restaurant from their soda, and you can get more foodborne illnesses from a dirty icebox than from raw meat. Red's Old 395 Grill's ice tasted downright foul. It hadn't been in my coke 10 minutes before all I could taste was this overwhelming combination of metallic tap water and freezer funk.
