Howard Kelly Review of The Dilworthtown Inn
We have been to Dilworthtown Inn a couple of times...
We have been to Dilworthtown Inn a couple of times and enjoyed ourselves but this last time was really a disappointment. We went for our 30th anniversary and asked for a quiet room for a little romance. The waiter came and had a hard time remembering the specials and didn't really seem interested in the menu overall. We made our selection and ended up waiting an hour for our dinner, which was tepid at best. I had lobster, which was cool to the taste and tough. The next table over the couple started playing youtube videos on their phone (loudly) and the waiter actually joined in watching instead of encouraging them to tone it down. We ordered a creme brulee for dessert and it was really bland, even with the candied orange peel. We were so underwhelmed by our whole evening that we probably will not go back. Definitely not a memorable anniversary.
