I have been attending the center for events for the last 10 years Marching In the pride parade with them for the last 6 years. I've done groups with them I've done 12-step groups with them when I made it to when I was in need of therapy that were there for me. I've made many friends and allies at the center and will continue to go until the end of time. It's a safe haven for all walks of life and a great place to come relax have something to eat, study, talk, get away from the world or just relax. They offer support groups, they offer education for HIV and other diseases. Also, there is always safe sex tools at the front desk that are complementary because that is very important especially in the LGBT community. Stop by the center at 208 West 13th Street if you are having trouble finding your tribe and are part of the lgbtq plus community or just an ally and run stop and there is definitely something for everybody
