In April of 2013 I had a vehicle wrap put on my truck for my company Green Side Up! Trying to get the best value for the money I discussed the life expectancy of the product vs. Paint. I contacted Joe Richter at Empire Graphics, LLC in Hampstead NC. Joe told me the manufacturer had a 3 year warranty against premature weathering and the wrap, with proper care could last much longer. After the install I was provided with a "Care and Warranty " sheet , which states the product has a 3 year warranty from the manufacturer against premature weathering. Super! Last October (2.5 years) I noticed that the hood and roof were fading and cracking. I contacted Joe Richter at Empire Graphics about the issue . Joe provided an estimate for over $700 to "repair" the issue at my expense. I referred to his warranty and he acted helpless and said he would have to contact the manufacturer, Orocal about the issue. Nothing. While waiting to hear back from Joe I contacted Orocal myself only to find out they offer no warranty for my issue. Empire Graphics says their hands are tied and that they can do nothing about my issue. They are whom I purchased the wrap from and they are the provider of the "care and warranty" sheet stating the warranty. So they are responsible for the coverage. The more I press him, he is now out right lying about the situation. People ask on a daily basis "who did the grapics on your truck?" I have to tell this story to everyone that asks that question. It has been difficult to deal with Empire Graphics over the years as we have other items we contacted them about only to be ignored. We wanted a window perf for my wife 's car as well as business cards and other miscellaneous items Empire Graphics offers . I am Extremely frustrated with their poor customer service and total lack of desire to stand behind their product!
