This is a great place to dine in Augusta GA. The food quality and ambiance were 5 star. Our server, Kate, was knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. We'll ask for her again when we dine there again.

Bottom line: go there. You'll enjoy your dining experience.

Now for our quibbles:
Noise.
Go to the back room if you want to hold a decent conversation. The main dining area was noisy. The conversation at each table ramped up as more diners were seated. And some of that conversation was the staff presenting the menu to the diners. See our comments below.

Menu Presentation
We dropped one star for the presentation of the menu items. It was long, complicated, and unnecessary. The food on the menu is sourced locally or regionally when possible, which is a positive feature. This feature was printed on the menu, but it was also unnecessarily presented verbally, lecture-like. The menu also used arcane descriptions for common food items. This approach might be appropriate in culinary school, but it was not helpful in choosing a menu item. It needs to be dumbed down to an understandable level.

Draft Beer
The wine and spirits choices were plentiful and top-notch. The draft beer choices were too trendy for our liking. The craft beer craze seems to have blinded this restaurant into presenting draft beer choices to the latest hip offerings while minimizing the staples like pilsner, lager, ale, porter, stout. For example, there were no Yuengling or Sam Adams traditional lagers or ales available on draft. This omission is almost sinful. The 'regular' beers were available by the bottle or can, but it's just not the same as draft.
