The Oregon Zoo is an awesome place to visit. Not only is it a great zoo but they also offer awesome summer concerts and events like Zoo Lights. In the summer and other times when school is out they have zoo camp. Tonight I was there for my date's company Holiday party. The food was really good and there was a room rented out for us. We ate meal which included a tri-tip steak and several tasty sides. There was a cash bar with the option for cards. I was most excited for Zoo Lights. I hadn't been since I was a kid. I was not dissapointed. We got on the train, $5, which was worth it even as and adult sitting on an 8 inch tall bench. We got out and walked around it is truly a magical experience for all those who let it be! Great for kids and a romantic date too. Arrive early or take uber or public transit. The lot gets full quickly during the holidays.
