Awful firm. Applied for a mortgage with this firm (via a broker) nearly four months ago. Every step of the process has been unnecessarily drawn out. and they pick your pocket at every turn.

Most egregious, they insist you pay for an "independent" valuation via one of their preferred surveyors, who charge hundreds, don't even visit the property (the photos they used were the ones from the estate agent's website) and don't produce a report on time.

Finally pulled the plug on the transaction today after their slimeball solicitors tried to get me to pay charges that weren't included in the loan agreement.

Avoid these charlatans at all costs.
