My husband and I are first time home owners, and our new house came with a "broken hot tub". This was our very first hot tub as well. I called this place to come do a diagnosis on it, and was NEVER told, "Oh make sure your hot tub is filled with water on the day of the apt". Being first time hot tub owners, had I been told that I would have made sure it was filled.
So day of the apt I get a call while I'm at work from my husband, stating that the Mechanic came out, told him it needs to be filled with water, and that he would come back at the end of the day to take a look.
I was irritated, because I again, WAS NOT told these instructions prior to this apt. Then I get home from work to be told the mechanic never came back around to look at the hot tub.
Irritated the next day, I call them again and was told that the mechanic just went back to the business, put our paperwork at the bottom of the stack of people to "be rescheduled". The man I spoke to on the phone was very apologetic and understanding and said, "I will call the mechanic now and see if he can swing by today and then call you right back and let you know".
At least 3-4 days go by where this company just Dropped the Ball and never called me back, and at that point I was done with them and called another business who came out the next day, diagnosed and fixed our hot tub.
Mind you this is now WEEKS ago all this took place.
Then yesterday, I get a call and a voicemail while I am at work, being that i work until 6pm I was unable to answer or check any messages until I was off.
It was from an Angela from this Emerald Outdoor Living asking if I wanted to be put back on their schedule or not to get our "leak looked at".

I tried to call them but they were closed. I then use my mobile app later that evening to check my bank account, and notice that not only did they drop the ball and haven't tried to contact me in WEEKS, but now all of a sudden they have decided to put a $114 hold on my card?!?!?!?!

I called this morning and spoke to Angela again, and she very passive aggressively stated that she "Knows she told me to have my hot tub filled with water" and that she's been " trying to get a hold of me for weeks!"

ONE- No one ever told me to have it filled because I would not have been so upset when the mechanic came and left due to NO BODY TELLING ME TO MAKE SURE THE HOT TUB WAS FILLED BEFORE SOMEONE CAME.

TWO- I pulled up my call records on my Cell Provider Website, and I have received NO INCOMING OR MISSED CALLS from this business for TWO WEEKS until YESTERDAY.

THREE-then they continue to charge me for NO WORK that was ever completed, now WEEKS after the fact?!

I'm SORRY- THAT'S NOT HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS.

Needless to say, they are dropping the $114 charge but of course they cant put it available back on my card until tomorrow.

I definitely DO NOT recommend this shady business to anyone, and will never be coming to them for any future hot tub needs.
