I joined Logophilia as a Management Trainee in June 2019. I was just out of college with little to no exposure to serious work. I had previously undergone the Volunteership and Internship stages of Logophilia s Professional Experience track and I thoroughly enjoyed working through them. Being an Etymology student, I would often get to work on content creation and it wouldn t seem like work anymore.
Logophilia provided me with ample opportunities to explore my own way around a problem. I had no background in web development, but high enthusiasm. Thanks to the encouraging leadership and guidance, I soon started working on the Logophilia websites. The people at Logophilia are fun-loving, appreciative, and dedicated workers. They work passionately, with a high work ethic, ownership, and integrity. Thinking of fun, logging of the puns & high-five's being thrown around in the office (we call it "Shrine") could be a great value addition, perhaps even a full-time job for someone.
As a Logophilia professional, one gets to attend any and all workshop(s) for self-growth, and there are frequent training sessions as well - where all Logophilia professionals take initiative and teach a certain skill or a method for productive work. The system of Logophilia heavily relies on feedback mechanism and ratcheting - today s best shall be tomorrow s baseline. For me, every day of being there has been full of learnings and huge strides forward.
Getting off to the right start is very crucial in building a career. I am glad Logophilia recognised my potential and that I was provided with the identity of a Logophile. I shall be forever grateful to the Logophilia family for helping me evolve as a professional and as a person.
