Just walked out from leasing a GX460 from Ryan Tierney at Herb Chambers Hingham. We were planning on driving several other vehicles today and not yet pulling the trigger on a new car to replace the upcoming end of a GLK350 lease.

Ryan was stellar--no high pressure BS, no smarmyness, genuine guy, nice to talk to and spend time with and worked with us to get what we were looking for at a fair pricepoint. We got a good enough deal and liked the truck enough to not bother spending all day driving other cars. The inventory guy [forgot his name] was really nice as well and straightforward helping us see what was available not only here but also at other dealer lots with the spec we wanted [we were looking for a "stripper" which is uncommon in Lexus land and got really close to what we were looking for--especially the necessary-to-me base model wheels!] but with nav and heated/cooled seats and a few other odds and ends.

Nice test drive as well, we were able to hit the highway and some back roads for a ~15 minute drive. The GX itself is an impressive truck, and being a bit of a car dork I'm excited that we were able to get an "L" badged Land Cruiser [Prado] for when I want to go mess around off road occasionally [no rock crawling though, too pretty those bumpers are to rip them off on a trail!]

Service waiting room is clean, well outfitted, and the coffee bar was excellent; the white glove treatment with Herb Chambers coming to pick up the car and drop a loaner when we need servicing was a big plus point as well. My friend has bought 3 Lexus vehicles from this dealer and told me it was the place to go--he was right.

Li in Finance was great as well, we realized that we had actually dealt with him before when we got the Mercedes at the last dealer [unaffiliated with Herb Chambers--that was a good buying experience but horrible after-sale experience particularly with service] and it was fun to deal with him again [he even got me to buy something from finance which I never have before!]

Went to pick up the car yesterday but there was an insurance delay, so rather than have to wait at the dealership for several hours, Ryan got the tags done and dropped the truck at the house and picked up the trade in--super personalized service that was greatly appreciated!

All in all, the entire process was as painless as I could have imagined and I have owned ~15 cars so have a lot of experience in the area...I love cars but usually hate buying them--not the case today! Highly recommend checking out Herb Chambers in Hingham and asking for Ryan and Li should you be in the market for a Lexus.

This is my first Lexus and if the ownership and service experience are anything like the buying experience was, I am pretty sure they have a customer for life.
