I used Gordons via Lloyds Bank for my house purchase (back in March). At first I was a bit dubious about using a 'remote' conveyancing service rather than a local firm, but any worries I had were quickly proved unfounded. From start to finish these guys were great, always responsive to queries and constantly updating me on progress. Everybody else I know who has bought a house is jealous about how quick and easy my purchase was! I'll definitely use them again when the time comes to move on.
