If it was an option I wouldn't even give this comp...

If it was an option I wouldn't even give this company 1 star. They stole our money. My husband scheduled a payment, and on the day the payment was due, CPS TOOK TWO PAYMENTS. We have never missed a payment in the 6 years we have been in San Antonio and their system took twice they amount of money that was scheduled. No one has money to be stolen when you scheduled the correct amount. My husband is always on top of payments and he checks often to make sure payments are scheduled and paid. So we are out almost $300 bc CPS TOOK OUR MONEY. How does a company take a double payment when there is a single payment scheduled?!?! We were told that a refund check would be sent to us in 5-8 days. Imagine our surpise when it is 8 days later and no check. We call and they give us a run around about how we have to wait until the 10th to see if the check will be processed IF the next billing cycle hasn't been counted. And then I call the next day (the 10th) and was told that our meter was read on the 6th and that our refund has already been credited to our account. What happened to "the 5-8 days"? What happned to the "wait until the 10th to see if it has processed"? This company is a scam we were told different things by 3 different people. We have always been on top of our payments and we get our money taken from us? This is how CPS treats its customers. If you have any options DO NOT CHOOSE CPS. And I'll be telling everyone I know to stay clear away from this company. We are out of money that was taken without permission and we were lied to. Terrible company.
