I know it wasn't the fault of the store, but while...

I know it wasn't the fault of the store, but while in line at a check out. With half of my groceries on the conveyor belt. Mostly frozen food. The lady in front of me, with a full cart of groceries. Which had already been bagged up and in her cart . Didn't have enough money to pay. So she started putting items back for deletion. After about 10 items or so, she returned all but about 7 items. In the meantime, my frozen foods are thawing. The lady behind me is complaining about her frozen items. So finally they get her out of the way. They start to ring me out. And the register freezes up. Now I have to recart my groceries and move to a different location. They apologized for the inconvenience, which was great but l feel that wasn't quite enough. I feel maybe a employee discount of some type might have been nice. Or maybe gas rewards. But now I get home, unload my groceries to find that my frozen foods are thawing, icecream melting, seafood thawed to a point that I had to put into the fridge to be used before anticipating. I have to shop at night, so l really wasn't a happy person. So thanks for listening. I just wanted to get it off my chest. I've been shopping at Giant food stores since it's high street location in downtown Carlisle. And despite all this, ill be back. I normally have a good experience. Thanks. Have a good day.
