This place was amazing! It was magical from the time we stepped foot in the park until the time we left. We stayed until the park closed. We walked a little slower toward the exit because we didn t want the day to end. We wanted to remember each sight and sound. We were pleasantly surprised at the affordability of the souvenirs and the free refillable drink cups! When you go buying this refillable cup is a must!!! We appreciated the great detail put into putting these rides together. Harry Potter s castle was AMAZING. Try the butterbeer frozen! We forgot how long the wait was because it was so much to see inside of the castle. When there you must also go by and visit Blue the velociraptor! Video here is a must! She took a liking to my husband s bald head! We didn t have the opportunity to visit the other parks but we plan on returning. Family memories were made. We did have one gross experience where we left our 13 yr old at the place to see us on the Jurassic Park water ride. When we returned to get him after learning that the ride had been temporarily shut down due to lightning in the area, we couldn t find him among some chaos. There were people crying fleeing the area. I was praying it wasn t my son puking up because he wasn t feeling the best earlier. My husband had me to stay back and he went to go find him. 10 minutes later he came back with our son visibly shaken. I m seeing others running with cellphones. Apparently, there were two huge street rats. One was covered in blood. My husband said it looked like someone had stomped it and the smell was putrid. My son, the football player had hidden away from the scene. I just said the New York rats wanted to visit Universal. We can t blame Universal for what happened. A place that big and people are constantly throwing out food, you are bound to have some sort of infestation. Overall we still had a good time. However, the smell by the entrance of the Jurassic Park water ride smelled like fresh dinosaur poo! To end this review on a good note, you must check out a hidden gem. They have an interactive show called, Poseidon! It was so cool!! The actor was awesome and should be In Hollywood! Walking through the tunnel of water which was doing a 360 spin around us was scary and captivating at the same time. I m glad that we didn t pass it up!
