I am from Virginia and located a Toyota Sequoia Platinum at the Smythe Volvo dealership's used vehicles. I worked with Steve Badian in sales over the phone and through email. I found him to be courteous and prompt with his follow up. I required a lot of detail due to my location and Steve provided all the information to me so I could make a buying decision while in VA. I drove up and purchased the car. I towed it back to VA. Once back home I realized that the cruise control did not function. I took it to my Toyota dealership locally and they let me know that it would require nearly $2000.00 dollars to repair. I was waiting for my virginia tags as well so when Steve called to let me know the status of the tags I shared the news on the cruise control. While he wasn't able to ensure that they would do something about the repair he assured me that he would advocate for me. I frankly figured that distance was on the side of the dealership and they would just let it go. Much to my surprise and amazement, Robert Steinman, the Pre-Owned Manager contacted me. The owner agreed to buy the part and ship it to me for installation. They even reimbursed me for my charge to diagnose the trouble with my local Toyota dealership. I simply paid to have the part installed which I felt was very reasonable.

I have owed 3 Volvo's in the past. While this wasn't a Volvo purchase I think that the follow up and integrity of the dealership should be noted. I would buy a vehicle from them again anytime.
