I also want to leave my own review about Gafi Resort.
I am writing a review while at the hotel. Emotions are off scale, and far from positive.
This is our first joint trip to the sea with a child.
If I knew that there is such an attitude towards the Slavs, I would not have gone here in my life. And they don't even try to disguise it.
I'll start with the beach. The beach is nice, sandy, gently sloping, but you need coral slippers, because they are everywhere here. The cost of slippers is $ 3-4. Cuts heal for a very long time, I experienced it myself.
With regards to cleaning the rooms, solid 3, they clean only in the middle of the room, everywhere there is dust and debris Towels and bedding are changed daily, shampoo and other substances are replenished in full. The location of the hotel is 10 points, the territory is also excellent. If you're lucky enough to live in a bungalow, it's generally super.
But with regards to food - there is a guard here. Get ready for the fact that all your vacation, you will eat the same thing every day !!!!! Of course, you will not remain hungry, but you will not see anything new either. The chef has no fantasy. And this is not the worst thing))).
Worst of all, you will have to constantly stand in huge queues now for water, then for juice, etc., then for meat and other dishes that are served in portions. And the Arabs stick out of turn and they are naturally served out of turn, and this is constant. They can pull a chair right out from under your nose. They are absolutely all-equal, both to the guests and to the staff of the restaurant. And this is very annoying !!!
About the restaurant chefs - this is generally a story that cannot be hushed up. In my opinion, they hate Russian-speaking tourists. They just don't even want to notice you. I got the impression that I am a bum who asks for alms, and this is no exaggeration. I thought that maybe I was wrong and this is the norm, but after talking with Russian-speaking tourists I realized that there are much more dissatisfied than satisfied. If it is meat or chicken, it will be the smallest and most bony pieces, if it is ice cream, then the ball will be 25 grams at best. But for our own naturally, all the best !!! You will not see any gloves on the hands of the cooks - this is the norm !!! Meat, fish, grill, sandwich and other a la carte dishes, they apply with bare hands.
The hotel operates on the "all inclusive" system, but do not rush to take what is there from the refrigerator, this is not included in the price of your voucher. This is for an additional fee !!! Water must be collected in a restaurant or a bar by the sea in its own container.
Wi-fi only at reception and not the best quality. You can't send a video for sure. If you cannot live without an Internet, then it is better to connect a SIM card immediately at the airport. $ 11 - 16 GB. If I'm not mistaken - a water phone.
The friendliest guys are animators.
In general, I want to say that this is not at all what you expect from a vacation. Disappointed. You will not see prices anywhere, not in a store, not in a pharmacy, or anywhere. One gets the impression that you are mistaken for a sucker. Everywhere is a complete deception. Starting from the hotel, shop, pharmacy, McDonald's and ending with walks and excursions. Everywhere they want to deceive you. At the reception desk I gave $ 10, so that they would move in faster. check-in at 14, and we arrived at the hotel at 9 am, so someone managed to get their hands on this money. Then of course we figured it out. But the sediment remained. Ride on water attractions to the fullest, too, will not work. You pay for 7 minutes, but the ride is at best 4 minutes.
In general, Turkey is probably better !!! At least the nature is beautiful there.
I definitely do not recommend either the hotel or Egypt itself.
