The shopping experience was brilliant up to the moment that I paid. Then 8 months later a stone fell out of my wife's engagement ring. When I took the ring back staff became confrontational and told me that if you drive a Rolls Royce against a tree it will break just like a Skoda. They also started repairing the ring before I had agreed costs with them. The whole experience was desperately disappointing. In future I will stick with Tiffany's even if the staff are less knowledgeable.

Update: No repairs should be carried out without agreeing the cost with clients. The shop had no legal contract with me to carry out out repairs to the ring. They deprived me of the opportunity to have the remaining stones reset somewhere more competent.
Their politician's response is clever in missing the point about their total lack of professionalism.
