Updated: 1/9/2019 I was highly pleased and content to receive a call in response to my concerns and was immediately reassured by the staff at Calahan. I truly appreciate your diligence and collaboration to resolve this quickly and efficiently. My mind is now at peace and I again feel the comfort that I have always known while getting through this difficult time. Overwhelming thanks to the Calahan Family and all of your staff for your wonderful service! My heart is overjoyed!

Calahan has been a family name since I was a child. I admired the professionalism and dignity that came with each service they handled until recently in August. While not completely disappointed, I didn't feel that same family atmosphere. We weren't allowed to view our loved one until the balance was satisfied, many childhood friends missed the service because they were told there was no service (because of the balance due), and to date not receiving any contact to pick up death certificates. Nor can family out of state view the obituary because it's not posted online. I completely understand that some things need to be done but when a family is devastated by a completely unplanned loss, there's a way to work things out in a diplomatic way with full support. I didn't get that feel this time. I miss that type of service from Calahan.
