Kacee Burrus Review of Pride of Maui

We checked in around 7:30am I believe and boarded at 8. Our group was large, probably around 30 people or so. They provide bread, fruit, juice and coffee for breakfast and then everyone goes to the upper deck for the ride to Molokini. On the ride, different crew members spoke to us about the safety procedures and different activities they offered. If you want to do something extra like snuba, you have to sit in on the class down stairs. No previous training required, but I couldn't equilize my ears so I wasn't able to go. Molokini crater was amazing! The coral there is just stunning and the water is so clear. They took us to Turtle Town after that and while still beautiful, the water wasn't as clear. I only saw 1 turtle while I was actually snorkeling but saw about 3 more once I had come back up on the boat. The entire trip is 5 hours long with about 2-2.5 hours in the water. They serve you hamburgers, chicken, pasta salad, cookies and drinks for lunch and also have a bar to get drinks. I will say the rides to the different locations were long, and I did get sea sick (didn't throw up though!). The staff is AMAZING, definitely the best part about the entire day. They were so accomodating and knowledgeable, you can definitely tell that this is their passion. There's a slide on the front of the boat that they let down and a lot of people had a blast on that. I was able to talk to quite a few different people and met some interesting people! I would recommend this tour if it's your first time in Hawaii. Yes, you can go along the different beaches and snorkel there, but Molokini is worth it just by itself.
