I recently had my rare 1998 HSV GTS 220i one of only 300 in the shop to have the security system disabled.

I was shocked when the job was finally invoiced at 3 times what it should have been after I believe the technician made a critical error when putting the dash back together damaging wiring to the diagnostic computer connection and making me pay for his mistake.

Fair enough I can not prove this and paid the bill. But what really disgusts me is when I get the car home I find that the technician has also put a huge crack in the dash surround and did not even acknowledge the damage they have done. Basically they have tried to hide their carelessness.

The car was being prepped for sale but now has to be repaired or a replacement found at great expense and time.

The first thing you now see when you look at the dash is this horrible crack and you immediately think who ever removed the surround was an impatient unprofessional arse.

You really have no idea how disappointed I am. Disgusting, I just can not believe it. The technician should not be allowed to get away with this type of deceit and negligence. They lack the proper care and attention needed for working on these Holden Special Vehicles.
