This shelter and its staff support staff-first-choice adopting and doing so by hiding 8 week old puppies in the hot outdoor kennels furthest from the main building and not marking them on the website or as adopted .
Even if they just came in 2 days ago and aren t even cleared of their shots, staff can apparently reserve animals for themselves and keep them as far away from the public as possible, and they re encouraged and supported in doing so.
I m extremely disgusted at this practice and how everyone in a city funded shelter is completely complacent and encouraging of this dangerous and shady practice.
I ve adopted 3 pets from this shelter but I will not be funding them nor recommending them like I unfortunately have in the past.
