I start with positive things: the location is great, 5 minutes from Time Square; otherwise there would be a lot to write about. The hotel is very dated, the rooms are not at all like in the picture, are old and stale, with carpets full of stains, but I found the bed and pillows comfortable, large tv and running. As for the staff, I spread a veil. Nobody speaks Italian (on the site it is written yes), never a good morning, never a smile, they are really so rude and unwelcoming, they approach each other only when they think they can get a tip, which by the way they demand only if they open you the bathroom door. I had written more than once to get some info and they NEVER answered me. Availability is equal to 0. The rooms were superficially cleaned every day and towels changed, but they threw me things to eat that I had kept for the evening and were not to be thrown away ... okay ... The thing I found most disturbing of all is the daily fee that applies to $ 35 for the internet, plus another 5.17 that he has not understood what for ... I find it really absurd. I conclude by saying that it is worthwhile only if you decide to stay a few days and want a central position, but there is much much better.
