Great hotel for the price. Stayed for a convention and it sits right on canal and bourbon st. So your right in the middle of all the action no matter the day.
Free ear plugs to sleep. Great beds, adequate bedding. Lots of towels.
Several adjacent restaurants you can enter from inside lobby.
Mac makeup store access in lobby as well on canal street.
Stellar bellhop service.
Even on a busy exit day, monday we got out in record time.
Definitely as a structure the hotel was several buildings put together but in the heart of New Orleans it was just, well character.
Great views from room, from balcony on 2nd floor conference area..

Convention side:
Not enough water on conference floor, ever.
Slow opening of conference rooms, lack of staff or communication not sure which.
