Went here on Feb 21st. Paid $30 for limited snow tubing from 2pm-5pm (weekend-Holiday). It was fun, just as expected. I really enjoyed the scenery and being in the middle of the woods, compared to being in chaotic NYC. It's a great place to get away from the city and be in touch w your inner kid.
My family had a good time. The only draw back is that the waiting area is just a small cabin, jam packed w so much people you can't even move around. They definitely need to build a much bigger waiting section, we were there with a 4 month old in a stroller. And there was a sign that said. No strollers inside. Really? So do they expect mothers and their babies to wait in the cold while the rest of the family is having fun? I spoke to some parents and they were upset about that.
As far as snow tubing is concern , I was there on a busy day, but experienced no delayed. I think what really makes everything slow down is not the waiting time for tube or anything. but once you get to the top, waiting for your chance to slide down can take minutes, because you have to wait for the previous riders to clear out of the way at the bottom of the hill so you can go. And that can take 5 minutes at times. That's not counting looking for a tube/climbing up the hill / and making the line for your turn... All in all. A good experience, will definitely go back.
