My problems with Platinum VW began in December 201...

My problems with Platinum VW began in December 2016 when service kept the car for 7 weeks to say there is an issue with extended warranty.
I spoke to Moses. He said that there was nothing he could do for me. I told him it was not a good enough answer & I would like to speak to the owner. The owner (Josh Lever) said he is not interested in speaking to me. He told Moses what to tell me & wouldn't come out of his office.
When the lease was ready to get returned this year, Subaru paid the remainder of the lease to VW. My brother paid to repair all the little nicks and little dents to avoid fees. The dealership transferred the plates from the VW to the Subaru. We opted to pay for a tow from the body shop to the dealership for return. The vehicle was completed & returned to Platinum VW on 5/25/18.

On 6/25/18, I received a letter stating the vehicle wasn't returned.
The agent got back on the phone & says I m sorry. Unfortunately, you are not going to like what I have to say. She said that Platinum VW told her the car was dropped off on the street & has been sitting there with no plates and no keys. I said, Of course there are no plates. They were transferred to the new car. She advised I go there to sort this out so I don t get charged as the vehicle was due on 6/1.

Upon arriving at Platinum VW, I finally found the car in the back of the dealership on a residential road right on the corner of the entrance to their lot. All 4 doors were locked, but the trunk wasn t. The keys were in there. Both D/S and P/S of the vehicle were vandalized, as well as, left side of the rear bumper, the front bumper, right QP and windshield. As I walked up to the lot, two men approached us. I asked if there was a manager I could speak to, and one of the men responded how can we help? I pointed to the car and said, I need to speak to someone about this car. The guy told me that he is not interested in dealing with this and that the cops are already on their way because we are trespassing on their property. Little did I know that this man was Josh Lever. My tow truck driver started to explain where he was told to leave the vehicle and about the man who took the keys from him. This is when Josh went insane & was nasty. The blood rushed so far up my head I couldn t help but yell back. I was INFURIATED at the way he refused to offer assistance & the way he was speaking to me. I didn t even get to ask my question. Everything had to go through the police officers as Josh was not interested in getting this situation sorted.

They asked me what they could do for me. I said that I needed some sort of form stating that the car is being returned. I requested the video footage from the dealership. I was refused both the paperwork and the video footage.

They said I had to take the car out of there. I said I wanted a report stating everything that is happening because now I am going to have to lay out money to return this car again otherwise I will be charged from VW themselves. I was told that there is nothing they can write up for me as there is no act of crime here. I checked with the DMV to see if there were any tickets associated with the vehicle. They stated there were no tickets associated.

This was a deliberate act of vandalism in my opinion. All I see is poor business, poor customer service and poor customer relations. Everything got blown out of proportion instead of helping a long time customer.

I was refused assistance. I was stuck with not knowing what to do with the car because VW of NA told me that I have to get a lawyer. I said I hadn t retained a lawyer & I would prefer not to pursue that if I don t have to. I said I wanted them to tell me what to do to get it out of my hair. No one was able to help me after hours of being on the phone. No attorney wants to take on this case because either way I will be losing money.
I repaired the car and will be returning it to another dealership. With that being said, I will never be getting a VW again due to this terrible experience with both the dealership & corporate management.
