Review of Honda Universe

Yvette is a professional salesperson.
The dealership was clean.
The sales staff -- some were wearing masks, some just had the mask on under their chin or under their nose or not on at all which is unacceptable because they do not know how this will effect their customers -- no regard for public health or safety!
This was the WORST experience I have ever had in this dealership; I have bought 7 cars from them; 6 brand new. The salesperson and one of the general sales managers I usually work with are no longer there. I wanted to believe the dealership will work to maintain our relationship.
While Yvette was working with is and discussing the details of 2 different model CR-Vs and salesman approached requesting the key to one of the vehicles -- she told him it was for her customer. He went to the sales manager NICK SALERNO -- who then came and took the key from her and sold the car she was getting ready to sell to us, to another person! Then Ozzie comes to tell us he can locate another vehicle at another lot for us - he should have done that for the other person because CLEARLY we had arrived first and Yvette had this car waiting for us.
Nick Salerno was lying to me on the telephone the day before and if Yvette had not called me, I would not have gone to see them; I had no desire to work with Nck Salerno. Well -- sadly, our 10 year sales relationship is terminated. I will not return there for anything if the management is going to remain the same. That was a tasteless unethical thing to do and I have never been treated like that before.
I have driven a Honda for a very long time and unless I find a reputable Honda dealership nearby, I am sad to say I will no longer be driving a Honda! We already have plans to turn in my children's lease at another dealership. It is absolutely the people that make the business and based on my experience yesterday, Honda Universe needs an overhaul. I apologize that I was not able to leave a positive review but no one should be treated in this way EVER!
