Saw Anita Baker here yesterday. She is a national treasure still with the great notes at 61. A classic voice with a high energy crowd who loves her.
20 dollars parking seemed a bit much. The parking situation leaving was organized but getting in was chaotic and a mess. Allow an extra 30 to 45 minutes to get into the parking lot and hike to the venue. Have been here before and the acoustics tonight were not as good as usual. Not sure if it was the band behind Anita or the sound system. Either way she was hard too understand with the band loudness overwhelming her except on her signature midnote range
Still she was excellent.
